not overly partial to medleys myself, though I am certainly not surprised they are performing in that vein. i havent seen the setlist, but damn, they sure do have alot of material from which to choose.

"not overly partial to medleys myself," said the Wolf.

I think there is only one who can pull that off: and they called him "The King".

The King is in a class all by himself!

...but wait! Aren't medleys part of what the Who has done live all along?

I just hope they really play. Barry Manilow completely lip-synced his recent Tonight Show performance. It was sadly obvious.

The fact that I watched is downright pathetic.

LOL - poor Barry :(

(and yes, very sad you actually watched it. You are slipping, man)

;)

Right now, I'm listening to a SBD from the Las Vegas International Hotel (1971-02-23). It is hi-Q. I'm on "Mystery Train", at the moment.

Which makes me wonder: could Ron Tutt have brought some songs to JGB? I think there are other songs that both JGB and Elvis did but I don't know what they are.

Revision: Holy Smokes! I think he just did some karate moves during "Polk Salad Annie" while Tutt was doing rimshots!

Revision 2: "Beat the hell out of 'em, Tutt" Johnny B. Goode.
